Pattern Is Movement - "Crazy In Love"
http://media.daytrotter.com/audio/dt/pattern-is-movement-crazy-in-love.mp3
Pattern Is Movement are some down-home grizzled truck stop lookin dudes.
I don't know much about 'em except that they do math rock and they're from Philly,
AND they flipped & bounced the living daylights outta the song above.
The vibe I get from it is as follows:
Shaky, whispery singing + minimalist backing track = stalker/rapist ode to his future victim
(but in a super fresh and un-creepy way).
In conclusion: TWERK IT.

Grabbed, thanks.
So why is it that behavior chicks will take out a restraining order over becomes romantic when sung? (Think also "Every Breath You Take.")
that's a pretty heavy like if Xiu Xiu decided to be less avant garde and more intense. I've always thought this song was unrealized in it's original state; this is quite a fix!
Ever heard The Puppini Sisters' cover? It's fairly similar to the original, but with new vocals and I think mixed with "The Ritz", or some showtune-like dance song. Kind of cute, but nothing compared to this gem :P
